Dr. Glen Maiden has been a student of Greek and Hebrew for over  twenty years.    A Dumbell's Guide to Greek began as a Master's thesis in 1987. Since its beginning the book has been taught to high school students, small groups, and individuals.

Dr. Glen has a deep passion to teach the Bible in the original languages for several reasons. It was through the study of Scripture in Greek that he found the grace of Jesus Christ and the answers to life's most poignant questions of "why are we here?" and "does God have a plan for me?" More than mere religion, the Scriptures reveal relationship with the living God.

He also believes that the next generation of Christian leaders are an at-risk group if they are not grounded in the inspired text of the Bible in its most original form. Every movement in the history of Christianity that has experienced the radical change of culture and the impact of lives has been deeply rooted in the integrity of God's Word, the Bible.  This is the passion which he shares with you.

Dr. Glen received his BA in Bible and Biblical Languages from Asbury College in Wilmore, KY, and his MTS in New Testament and Christian Education from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He received his Doctorate in Addictive Systems from Western Theological Seminary in 2006.  Prior to becoming the Sr. Pastor at North Coast Family Fellowship in Seaside, OR, he served for 17 years as the Senior Pastor at Kainay Community Church in Muskegon, MI.
